Human Resources Value Creation

⼈財価値創造: デンカのコアバリュー「挑戦」「誠実」「共感」で、⼀⼈ひとりが⾃⼰成⻑を実感できる会社に

In the Management Plan "Mission 2030," we have established three policies: strengthening of the human resource development system, promotion of diversity, equity & inclusion, and health and productivity management and work style reform. Based on these policies, we have established strategies and 2030 targets. Regarding investment in human resources, we aim to become a company in which each individual can feel personal growth, based on our core values of "Initiative," "Integrity," and "Empathy," and we plan to invest 500 billion yen over the next eight years. Furthermore, with the aim of becoming a company in which each employee can feel personal growth, we are actively working on system reforms. In April 2023, we conducted our third employee awareness survey to serve as guidelines for future human resource measures. By analyzing the results of this survey, we will identify issues that hinder us from achieving our goals and fostering a corporate culture based on our core values of "Initiative," "Integrity," and "Empathy," and formulate and implement improvement measures.

In the "Mission 2030" management plan, we have established the policies of "strengthening of HR development systems," "promotion of diversity, equity & inclusion," and "health and productivity management and work style reform" for the creation of human resource value, and have set up related medium- to long-term KPIs.

Reflecting employee awareness survey results in HR strategies
Since fiscal 2017, we have been conducting employee awareness surveys on a regular basis. In the fiscal 2017 survey, we reflected the survey results in various system reforms, such as reforming our personnel evaluation system and job category system, and made efforts to improve the working environment for employees. In the fiscal 2020 survey, we once again grasped the current situation and issues of the Company, including the effects of the measures implemented last time, and conducted planned measures to create an environment in which employees can demonstrate their capabilities, such as workplace environment improvement investments. In April 2023, we conducted the third survey and are currently analyzing the results and identifying issues.
