The Denka Group is promoting business process reforms in all fields of corporate activities, including research, manufacturing, sales, and management, and striving to utilize and enhance ICT (Information & Communication Technology) across the Group to improve work efficiency and strengthen governance. At the same time, to protect the Denka Group's information assets from leaks, falsifications, and sophisticated cyber attacks that may occur due to the use of ICT, the Denka Group is establishing security infrastructure at the Group level and strengthening preventive maintenance based on risk management. Furthermore, the Denka Group has established a set of information security regulations, including the following Information Security Basic Policy.

Denka ensures management transparency by disclosing timely and appropriate company information in accordance with the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and the timely disclosure rules established by the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Furthermore, even for information that is not required to be disclosed by laws and regulations, Denka strives to actively disclose information that is deemed useful for stakeholders. Denka also seeks to deepen communication with stakeholders by utilizing as many opportunities as possible, such as earnings briefings, company briefings for individual investors, and shareholders meetings, and reflects the opinions received in its management and business activities.
Moreover, for timely disclosure information announced by Denka, the Company confirms the information disclosure on the Tokyo Stock Exchange before publishing it on the Denka website, thereby preventing the preemptive acquisition of timely disclosure information by unauthorized third parties. Denka has also established a website management system, limited working environments, installed protective systems, and established response procedures for emergencies.
In the future, Denka will continue to promote the strengthening of ICT governance for domestic and overseas Group companies based on internal controls, and aims to avoid losses and further enhance corporate value through these measures.
At Denka, we are strengthening our three-pronged approach of ① systems, ② processes, and ③ education as part of our efforts to enhance information security. As a system enhancement to protect information assets, we are working to prevent cyber attacks and information leaks. In terms of process development, we aim to establish a crisis management system to respond to major incidents in information security. In terms of education development, we aim to deepen the understanding of information security among all employees so that each employee can safely and reliably use information assets in their work. By continuing to review risk management in information security, we will strive to avoid risks and minimize losses.
