In July 2022, Denka joined WIPO GREEN, a global platform for environmental technologies operated by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), as a partner.
We possess a variety of environmentally friendly technologies, such as heat dissipation materials that contribute to energy savings and longer lifespans by being used as heat countermeasures in automobiles including xEVs and digital home appliances, phosphor *1 products that contribute to the spread of LEDs and play a part in reducing energy consumption, and food packaging materials that are thinner and lighter and use less plastic.We were the first to develop flexible organic thermoelectric conversion elements and modules using conductive materials, and have registered related technologies in the WIPO GREEN database.
As a company that positions environmental management at the core of its business, we are committed not only to reducing CO 2 emissions within our own operations, but also to the development and provision of environmentally friendly products and technologies that reduce environmental impact. By participating in WIPO GREEN, we aim to create innovations through exchanges with other partners who are interested in our environmentally friendly products and technologies, thereby contributing to decarbonization across society as a whole.
